Racial related things

Sorry about the vague title, but this really is about anything that's considered "Racist". To me, racism is everywhere. I just watched a video about a wal-mart prank that someone pulled, where they came over the loudspeaker and said "All black people are to leave". The news team was interviewing people and each and every one of them (apart from one person) said that this was racist and unacceptable.

To me, racism isn't just making racial remarks, but talking about them aswell, like the people in the interview were doing. If it's so unnacceptable, how about stop complaining about it, and just stop acting like blacks, hispanics etc, are a different race altogether. If you start saying "Oh that was racist" they you're being racist too. And do you know why? It's because you're acknowledging the colour of the people being discriminated against. If you really want racial equality, then stop acknowledging them as a different color!

I really think that everyone of different races should have more humility about their color. Hell, white people do. We get called "Crackers" all the time by black people and we don't say a word, but when one person says something wrong to a black person, he gets arrested. What is this shit!? Seriously.

There was a prank in my school a few months back where someone put up pictures of well known black individuals around the school and (apparently) put racial stereotypes or whatever under the pictures. The office took down all the pictures, and sent out a message to all the teachers to talk to the kids about the pictures. Only one teacher addressed the situation in the best way I could see fit. He told the kids that he doesn't see them as black, white, Asian, etc, he sees them as kids, and children, and HUMAN BEINGS. Every class I went to said the same thing, it's bad to be racist, blahblahblah. I didn't even have this teacher that said that, I heard it from a friend. The best part about that? He is black. He is from africa, and he teaches French. Why can't more people be like him? SERIOUSLY PEOPLE!

All through my life I've heard of the world being an equal place and being a great place, but as I grow up, I'm not seeing any of this so called "equalness". I really think it's time for a change. Just because you're black, white, asian, or hispanic, doesn't mean you get special rights when someone calls you a name, or says something wrong to you. Isn't that the whole point of these equal rights? So one group doesn't have special rights when something happens? If you get special rights when something racist happens to you, we ought to be able to get you arrested for calling us a cracker. Hell, in some gangs, if someone who isn't of black descent calls someone who is a "Nigga" or any variation of the word, he gets curb stomped. If a black calls us that, we should be able to too! I'm not saying we should, but I'm saying let's do that once and see how they react. See how they feel! Jesus fucking christ, I hate racial rants, because this always get's me so fuckin' heated.

  2. The part where i said "we should be able to [curbstomp them] too" that came out wrong. I'm really just saying like, IF we were to, the outcome would be a lot different.

  3. I blame the drive-by-media for perpetuating the sentiment. I think of Don Henley's Dirty Laundry:

"We got the bubble headed bleach blond, who comes on at five
She can tell you 'bout the plane crash with a gleam in her eye
It's interesting when people die, give us dirty laundry"
